A Denturist is a licensed oral health professional who specializes in the design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of dentures. Denturists work directly with patients to provide complete and partial dentures as well as repairs, relines and adjustments. We also provide services for immediate dentures, soft liners, night and sports guards and bleaching trays.

It is normal to experience a short adjustment period. With time, practice and proper fit, most patients speak and eat comfortably with their dentures.

We recommend a yearly check to assess fit comfort, and oral health. A permanent reline is usually recommended every two - three years to maintain proper fit.

Yes, most dentures and additions can be completed quickly. If your denture breaks, cracks or a tooth falls out contact us as soon as possible and avoid using household glue.

Modern dentures are designed for comfort, function and appearance.  While adjustment period is normal, ongoing care and adjustments ensure long-term comfort.

Most complete and partial dentures are made over several visits. These visits help us check fit, comfort, function and appearance.  The exact number of appointments depends on each patient’s needs and will be discussed on your first visit.

Dentures should be cleaned every day with a soft brush and denture cleaner. Avoid abrasive toothpaste, hot water and harsh chemicals.  When not in use, store them safely in water.  We have a home care sheet you will be given when we see you in the clinic as well it will be explained verbally.

We also have home care products for sale in the clinic; you do not need an appointment to purchase these products.
